FAQs

What’s the best time to schedule a session?

I shoot at sunrise & golden hour sunset. Day time shoots are upon request & will be held at locations with full shade. I do not shoot in harsh sun that is just my preference.

How should we dress for our session?

I love natural earth tones, blues, whether muted or contrasted. I tend to stay away from bright neon colors and crazy prints just so it doesn't take away from the goal of the session which is connections, emotions etc. Relaxed or dressy, vintage, modern, rustic, things that create movement etc. Together we can come up with outfits and a color scheme for your session!

We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?

Of course that is ok & it is completely natural to feel that way! This is why I like to shoot the way I do! It helps you relax & not feel pressure to have the perfect picture. I will hang back, give prompts but the most important thing to remember is to have fun & to focus on your family vs focusing on me.

Is there a booking fee?

Yes. There is a non-refundable booking fee that is separate from your Session Package & must be done at the time of booking. This is to ensure that your date & time for your session is blocked.

* If you sign the contract but do not pay your booking fee your session is not completely booked & your date will be opened back up.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

If you need to cancel your session please do so 24-48 hours before your scheduled session. Rescheduling is at the discretion of the photographer per availability within the next 2 weeks. Your booking fee will be used for your session.You must reschedule before the end of the year.

Can I purchase the originals?

No. I do not sell my originals nor do I sell my rights to them. You will receive a print release which gives you the right to print the photos for your personal use.
